Peeled rattan is wrapped tightly around the frame of this drink table, with a dense basket weave running across the top, the sides and both shelves.
The upper shelf carries a raised back edge, which keeps a glass from traveling, and the lower shelf takes a book or a folded newspaper.
Four finishes are offered, a natural, a navy stain, a sage and a smoke, so the table can sit quietly beside a chair or register as color in the room.
Rattan varies in tone with the season it was harvested in, and small darker marks are common.
Slim at 9 inches square and 27 inches high, it pulls in over the arm of a sofa or stands beside a bed.
